Hello Parents - We are excited to welcome the Millbridge Marlins to Hunter Oaks tonight. We have 10 swimmers undeclared for this Thursday. Please get on that before the portal closes! 

Reminders for tonight....

1. SPORTSMANSHIP: We expect this to be a close meet. Let's show the Millbridge Marlins good sportsmanship. We want swimmers staying in the water till other swimmers have finished. We want to see high fives, fist bumps, and lots of encouragement. Remind your kids! 

2. Come hungry and have dinner at the meet - support the food trucks and support the team! Tell your neighbors too.

3. Parking Details - Fill the parking lot and park on ONE side of Beckford Glen (or walk if you can!). Food Trucks will be set up in the front circle. This year, we raffled off TWO premium parking spots for ALL home meets. If you didn't win, don't park in those marked spots.

4. You are welcome to set up chairs AFTER 4:30pm on meet days. Marlins will use the space under the pavilion. Our team will be set up against the clubhouse and outside on the hill.

5. Don't bring alcohol. It's the rules, we didn't make them, and our team could be penalized - please be respectful of this.

6. Clerk of Course - Make sure your kids are ON TIME. If they are not and miss their relay, they won't swim in one at the next meet. Encourage them to stay off the playground and engaged in the meet! Stay for all the races your child is registered for. Parents -- DO NOT stay with your kids in the Clerk or stay behind the blocks unless you are a volunteer.

7. Heat sheets are attached. We don't expect changes, but they sometimes occur. Bring a copy, or follow along in the Swimtopia App. WiFi: HO Pool / Pass: hunteroaks (sometimes you have to enter it twice, it's special).

8. Clean up your area before leaving.

9. If you are volunteering, thank you in advance! Please check in at the volunteer check-in table - located just inside the gate no later than 5:30pm. Set-up volunteers, please arrive by 4:00pm.

10. There will be a table set-up once again with lavender mailbox bows in memory of our teammate Lara - please consider making a donation.
