Hello HOWJ Families: Happy Last Day of School-- We hope everyone had a great day!

Thanks to everyone for a successful home meet last night. Another big win by the Water Jets... Final Score: HOWJ: 519 / BCC: 317. Results are attached. GO WATER JETS! 

Please note a couple of reminders for next week. 

1. Practices move to MORNINGS! We will practice Monday through Thursday and on Meet Days going forward. Yes, your child can swim with another age group occasionally if it helps accommodate a camp or other schedules. You don't need to notify us. 

2. This coming Monday, 6/10, Cara Barnwell has arranged for Detour Coffee Truck to be on-hand to get us going on the first day of summer morning practice. Tell your neighbors and come by for a cup of delicious coffee Monday MORNING! 

3. Declare your swimmers for next Thursdays meet. Even if they aren't coming - declare them as "not attending." We need every swimmer marked with a Yes or a No for every meet.  

4. Our next meet is Monday - 6/10 at HOME. We are still having trouble with a couple of things at the meets. Please help us with this: 

• Only volunteers, coaches and swimmers should be in the Clerk of Course and behind the blocks. Parents - PLEASE do not hang out in these areas. Leave your kids, and cheer them on from the sides or wait for them at the end.
• If your child misses their relay - they will NOT swim in one at the next meet. Last night, we couldn't find a last minute replacement for a swimmer who left early (and didn't tell us) and had 3 very disappointed boys who couldn't swim their relay. 
• Two of our board members came back this morning to clean up the trash left behind on the hill and on the pool deck. Please check your areas before leaving.
