Congratulations Water Jets on a BIG WIN last night!

Thank you to everyone for keeping our area clean and showing great sportsmanship throughout the night! We heard lots of cheering for our Water Jets and we received very kind feedback from the Wahoos and wanted to share it with you so you could share with your swimmers. 

From Wahoos Team Rep: "You guys were terrific last night. I saw lots of kids congratulating their adjacent lanes. Cheering on all sides for competitors finishing up their swims. Huge cheering for a couple of solo heats. It was great. Your volunteers were awesome. Your Computer entry guys were great as well. Enjoyed hosting you all."

Way to go Water Jets. Thanks for starting us off with a great first meet! 

Results: Attached are the results. During the meets, you may also follow along in the Swimtopia app with the heat sheets and scoring. 

Parent Reminders: 

• Shrimp Parents: Please do NOT go to the Clerk of Course with your swimmer. Send them in their cap/goggles and ready to swim. Trust the process. Let them know you will be waiting at the end of the pool and cheering them on. The Clerk of Course is crowded and crazy and we can't have extra people there. 
• Please also help make sure your kids don't miss their race! Arrive ON TIME to the meets and send your child to the Clerk of Course in a timely manner. If your child misses their relay (and we had several last night) - they will NOT swim in a relay the next meet. It's not fair to the other three kids and the coaches who are scrambling to find replacement swimmers. If your child is in the medley relay - they start lining up during warm-ups. If your child isn't there - they will be replaced.

Attendance Next Week: If you haven't already - PLEASE DECLARE your child's attendance for the 2 meets next week.  Coach Whitney spends hours on these heat sheets and the sooner we have the attendance - the better! If something should change with your attendance between now and then - just email [email protected].

Next Meet 6/6: We are excited for our first home meet on Thursday vs. BCC. More details coming soon - but in the mean time - we have the ITOT pre-order link! Pre-orders are recommended.

Also this Thursday, neighbors will be on site selling mailbox bows in honor of former Water Jets swimmer, Lara Jaworski, who passed away two years ago.
