Hello HOWJ Parents - 

Thanks to everyone for your cooperation last night. It was a successful Mock Meet. We hope your kids enjoyed it - we saw lots of smiling swimmers! 

MEET ATTENDANCE: Before we get into the reminders and Mock Meet updates - Please remember that you must declare your child's meet attendance 3 days prior to the meets. If your attendance changes within 3 days of the meet please email [email protected] ASAP so we can adjust. We have much less flexibility when working with other teams and Coach Whitney spends hours on the heat sheets - please help make this easier on her! We have 24 swimmers still undeclared for Monday and 50 still undeclared for next Thursday. 

RESULTS: Attached are the results of the Mock Meet. You will also see your times on the app. As we mentioned, there were a LOT of DQs.... it's ok and was expected! This will help our coaches know where we need the most improvement. 

CLEAN UP: When packing up and leaving the meets, please be sure to take a moment and clean up your area. Our volunteers picked up empty pizza boxes, junior scoops bowls, gatorade bottles, candy trash etc around the pool deck. This is especially important when we are guests at other pools - we'd like to leave a good impression. Please talk to your swimmers about this. 

THANK YOUS: As you can see, it truly takes an army to pull off these meets and we appreciate each and every volunteer and some who pitched in - not even scheduled to help last night! Also thanks to our AMAZING coaching staff - we keep saying this - but we are so lucky to have you. 

CAPS: Please remember that no MSA /other logo'd caps are allowed at the meets. The other teams are very strict about this. Please purchase a Water Jets cap for $10. We will bring some with us to the meet on Monday. 

Reminder, there's no practice today OR Monday (due to the meet). There will be another email coming out with more specific details about the Providence Downs meet.
