Hello Water Jets Families - 

Thanks to everyone for coming to the banquet last night. We hope you and your families had fun! Be sure to check your email tomorrow for All Star Information. There will be All Start practice next week Tuesday-Friday 8:30-9:30am. 

We are excited for our final meet tonight at Baxter. Attached is the heat sheet and events by athlete. 

Below are meet details from Baxter. For those who have traveled to Baxter in the past, we are going to TRY to clerk our own kids on their deck tonight and avoid using the "tent city" in the parking lot. We will make the final call when we arrive tonight. 

MEET DETAILS: 

Address: Baxter Village Community Center Pool 3187 Colonel Springs Way, Fort Mill, SC 29708

Please arrive by 5:15pm. Warm-ups will begin at 5:45pm for Hunter Oaks. 

Directions: From Interstate 77, take exit 85. Head north on Highway 160. Turn left onto Sutton Road. Turn right onto Founders Street. Make a right at the stop sign and a quick left onto Settlers Height Drive. 

Parking: There is no access to the pool parking lot during meets. It is used as set up for swimmers. Street parking is available nearby the Community Center in any designated parking spots. Parking in front of the Community Center is prohibited, but swimmer drop off there is allowed. Please do not block private driveways. A walkway to the left of the Community Center will lead swimmers to the lower parking lot for set up.

Food: We will have several food trucks (American, Asian, wood fired pizza, and Kona Ice), all of which accept cash and credit cards, and some of which offer drinks. We do not have a general concession stand. (Only one of the trucks sells candy... just wanted you to be prepared!). 

Swimmers/Volunteers: We will use dive over starts for age groups 11-12 and up. Please instruct your swimmers to stay in the water at the end of their heats. We will have a timer’s meeting at 5:30 and stroke & turn judge meeting at 5:45. We will have a volunteer check in table near the front entrance. 

Spectator Seating: Parents may sit next to the pool's edge on either side, but must keep the walkway clear under the arbor area. Please use the sidewalk closest to the building for access to the parking lot area. There are minimal seats on the pool deck during meets and reasonable sized collapsible chairs are preferred. 

Restrooms: There are facilities in the outbuilding (pool house) at the end of the pool and at the base of the community center.

Kiddie Pool and Playground: The kiddie pool and exterior playground will be closed during meets. Please ensure kids stay out of these areas.
