Hello Water Jets - We are excited to travel to Hembstead tonight for our first away meet since 2019! Below are some important details about the event. But first... two important Water Jets announcements.

ALL STAR MEET AVAILABILITY: We have opened up Swimtopia for you to declare your child's availability for the All Star Meet. Participation in the All Star Meet is by coaches invitation only. We need everyone to let us know in Swimtopia if your child is or is not available to swim before Coach Whitney can build the roster. Please log into Swimtopia and declare your child's meet availability for the All Star Meet before Monday. The All Star meet is Sat. July 9th at 12pm. 

SPIRIT NIGHT: We have one final Spirit Night for the season! Join us this Saturday night at Chipotle in Waverly from 4-8pm. Order online and use the code JMHW6VC to give a portion of proceeds to the Water Jets. Thanks Heather Jordan for setting up these fun spirit nights!

HEMBSTEAD MEET DETAILS:

*Hembstead address is 2727 Oakmeade Lane, Charlotte NC 28270.

*Please arrive by 5:15pm tonight (allow for the Providence Rd traffic!). Hunter Oaks warm-ups will begin promptly at 5:45pm. If you are volunteering, please sign in at the Volunteer check in table located just inside the gates.

*The parking lot has a very limited capacity. They only allow the visiting team to park in it during meets. They will have 2 parking attendants in yellow vests; please follow their parking direction. Please observe no parking signs along Oakmeade Lane.

*Seating: Hunter Oaks will have the left side (diving board side) of the pool deck for seating as well as seating in the grill area to the right of the main gate. Feel free to bring chairs. Overflow seating is on the blacktop behind the visitor side. There's not much shade on the deck.

*Items available for purchase at concessions will be: Pizza, Hot Dogs, Chips, Candy and Drinks. Concessions is CASH ONLY.

*Just like at our pool.... Please ask your children to stay off the diving board, ladders, and out of the deep end of the pool.

Heat Sheet is attached. They do not use Swimtopia App to advance their meets. So you will have to keep watch on the signage at the Clerk of Course to know where we are in the meet. We are asking them to post the Heat Sheets to the app.
