Hello HOWJ Parents - Thanks to everyone for a GREAT FIRST MEET on Thursday Night. We won! Final score was HO: 460 / WW: 382. If you used the app, you can follow along with the scoring/times too. Attached are the meet results. 

THANK YOUS: We'd like to take a minute to give a huge shout out to our teen volunteers last week who filled in for Coach Whitney and helped Nick, Ariana and Zach run the practices. We are so grateful to each of you for jumping in and helping out. The younger swimmers look up to you all so much. Thank you: Mae, Toby, Macie, Tatum, Ella, Ainsley, Ansley, Zoe, Gavin & Gracyn. 

Monday Night - June 13th - We will host Thornhill Tornados at Home. Stay tuned for details on Food Trucks! Plan to come hungry. 

PARENT RELAY: Due to popular demand... the parent relay is back! We are planning to surprise our kiddos with a quick parent relay race at the end of the Thornhill meet on Monday night. WARNING: It will probably take place around 10:30pm or so. This is something we started last year during virtual meets. If you'd like to participate, bring a suit and email Blake Williams: blakefwilliams@gmail.com so he knows how many to plan for. Thanks Blake for coordinating this fun event! 

SEATING @ REMAINING MEETS: For all remaining meets, you will NOT be allowed to set up under the pavilion. That area is reserved for the away team. You are welcome to set up against the clubhouse on deck and on the hill outside the fence. NO spectator chairs will be set up on Clerk of Course side (where the life guard sits). Please do NOT set up chairs before 4:30pm.

KIDS ON DECK: Please, please, please tell your kids to stay out of the water if they aren't swimming a race. No legs dangling in the pool, or dips in the shallow end. It's a liability and a distraction. Please help us with this! Also, your child should NOT be at the clerk of course or near the chairs in the starting area if they aren't swimming. PLEASE help us with this!

MEET ATTENDANCE: Please remember that you must declare your child's meet attendance 3 days prior to the meets. If your attendance changes within 3 days of the meet please email [email protected] ASAP so we can adjust the heat sheets. Coach Whitney spends hours on the heat sheets - please help make this easier on her!
