Hello Hunter Oaks Water Jets Families -  

What a great meet last night against Weddington. It was super close - but we lost the meet by a slim margin! Attached are the results. Hunter Oaks Swimmers broke FOUR more records at the meet last night! Amazing - way to go WATER JETS! 

DQs: There were a lot of DQs last night. If you have questions about why your swimmer was DQ'd - please have them talk to Coach Whitney at practice on Monday. DQs are important to learn from... our swimmers need to swim the strokes legally in order to score points for the team. 

LAST PRACTICE: Reminder that Monday is our last practice of the season AND our final meet! Hope to see you at both. Parents, we will celebrate the end of a successful season with a coffee truck Monday morning at practice from 8-10:15am. Come treat yourself to a latte (cash and card accepted).... and we may just have a special sweet treat for the swimmers there as well! 

FINAL BANQUET REMINDER: Water Jets and their families are invited to join us THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 27th from 6-8pm for a DESSERT SOCIAL and Pool Party at Beckford Glen pool. Please note - there will not be ANY dinner trucks at this event. 

Feed the family dinner, and then join us for a dessert social and pool party from 6-8pm. Kona Ice and Donut I Love You food trucks will be on hand. Each SWIMMER will receive a complimentary dessert from the truck of their choice. Cork and Ale (owned by a swim team family) will be on site selling adult beverages (cash only) and we'll have DJ Jeremy playing music and games. Bring the family and join the fun! 

This event is for Water Jets and their families ONLY. We look forward to recognizing the swimmers for a job well done this season! No need to RSVP, we'll see you and your family Sunday night.  Please note that Cork & Ale will be CASH ONLY.
